Welcome back!
REGISTRATION NIGHT IS THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 11th. 2008,
7:00 pm
It is time again for a new season of fun and fellowship
at your Grey Granite Curling Club Your new board of
directors is looking forward to welcoming everyone back
for the new 2008 2009 curling season. We are excited
about the interest and involvement that the general
membership had at the end of last season.
In an effort to maintain that interest and get more
people involved in making the club a better place. Each
director has established a committee that will deal with
their area of the club operation. This not only will get
more input from a greater number of members, but more
hands make less work.
We have established the club event calendar earlier this
year and have planned for a club event each month. In
order to get more involvement and create more interest
we are asking each member to plan on participating in at
least three events over the season.
Our number one goal this year is to increase our
membership. We firmly believe that our best opportunity
to find new members is through our existing members. So
we have introduced a sponsorship program that we hope
will help us realize this goal.
If we all get involved in all these initiatives no one
will be over worked and we will see significant
improvements in our club sprit and financial situation.
The Grey Granite is our club! Come out registration
night, bring a friend and introduce them to our
facility. Everyone is welcome.
